1964 GMC 1000 Finishing Of 4 Inch Body Drop.

Now for the fun started with a new rear main support just this piece right here has got to be 100 pounds lighter then the org support across the back of the truck.

Don't forget to check the past projects on the truck under Start Of 4 Inch Body Drop. Also check out my 1960 K1000 4x4 Project.

The shop fatass always sleeping next to a screaming saw or welder going off...

New rear cab supports.

New front cab mount think simple.

All in all once the back support was in the rest of this cab framing fell into place. I basically put supports where ever i could and made triangles where ever i could.

Some org flooring being used still shows where the rust was lol...

Showing 4 1/2 inch of drop inside.

I decided to go off of this measurement though seemed to be the mostly like to be correct.

This also fell into place matching up perfect to be flush with the bottom of the frame.

Ever find yourself not being able to figure out how to build something just cut a piece that's close enough and go from there.

FRANKENSTEIN LIVES AGAIN.

If you want to see the latest project on the truck you can check it out at 230 Inline 6 Clean Up. Also if you want updates on the truck don't forget to subscribe by email at the top!
